Full Transparency

AffiliateDisclosure

We believe in complete transparency about how we make money. Here's everything you need to know about our affiliate relationships.

The Short Version

VendorPick has affiliate relationships with two vendors: Shopify, through the Impact network, and B12, through the Awin network. On those two vendors' links — and only those — we may earn a commission if you sign up, at no extra cost to you. Every other outbound link on this site is an ordinary editorial link that earns us nothing. Neither relationship influences our rankings, our recommendations, or which prices we verify. What we do and do not weigh is published in full on our ranking methodology page.

Our Affiliate Principles

Rankings Are Never Affected

Our affiliate relationships have zero influence on how we rank or recommend software. A vendor that pays us nothing will rank above one that pays us well, whenever the data supports it.

Full Transparency

We clearly disclose when links are affiliate links. You always know when we might earn a commission from your purchase.

Your Interests First

We only recommend software we genuinely believe will help you. If the best option for you has no affiliate program, we still recommend it.

Honest Reviews

We include both pros and cons for every product. Affiliate relationships don't buy positive reviews or hide negative aspects.

What This Means For You

1

When You Click a Link

If you click a link to a software vendor and sign up or make a purchase, we may receive a commission from that vendor at no extra cost to you.

2

Commission Rates Vary

Commission rates differ by vendor, and some vendors offer nothing at all. This NEVER affects our rankings.

3

No Extra Cost to You

You pay the same price whether you use our link or go directly to the vendor. The commission comes from the vendor's marketing budget, not your pocket.

4

How This Helps Us

Affiliate commissions help us keep VendorPick free and independent. It allows us to spend time researching software without charging users.

What We Will Never Do

These practices are against our core values and we will never engage in them.

Rank products higher because of higher commissions
Hide negative reviews for affiliate partners
Recommend products we don't believe in
Accept payment to write positive reviews
Disguise affiliate links as organic content
Recommend inferior products for more money

How to Identify Affiliate Links

You never have to take our word for which links are which — every one is marked, and you can check:

  • Affiliate links are marked rel="sponsored" in the page's HTML — the standard machine-readable marking, visible in any browser's view-source or inspector.
  • Any page carrying an affiliate link says so, by name, in a line directly above the list that contains it.
  • Everything else is an ordinary link. We use no redirect routes, no cloaked domains, and no link wrapping: the destination in your status bar is the destination you get.
