AffiliateDisclosure

We believe in complete transparency about how we make money. Here's everything you need to know about our affiliate relationships.

The Short Version

VendorPick may earn affiliate commissions when you click links to software vendors and make purchases. This never influences our rankings or recommendations. We recommend the best software for your needs, regardless of whether we earn a commission.

Our Affiliate Principles

Rankings Are Never Affected

Our affiliate relationships have zero influence on how we rank or recommend software. A product with a 0% commission will rank higher than one with a 50% commission if the data supports it.

Full Transparency

We clearly disclose when links are affiliate links. You always know when we might earn a commission from your purchase.

Your Interests First

We only recommend software we genuinely believe will help you. If the best option for you has no affiliate program, we still recommend it.

Honest Reviews

We include both pros and cons for every product. Affiliate relationships don't buy positive reviews or hide negative aspects.

What This Means For You

1

When You Click a Link

If you click a link to a software vendor and sign up or make a purchase, we may receive a commission from that vendor at no extra cost to you.

2

Commission Rates Vary

Different vendors offer different commission rates. Some offer 10%, others 50%, some offer nothing. This NEVER affects our rankings.

3

No Extra Cost to You

You pay the same price whether you use our link or go directly to the vendor. The commission comes from the vendor's marketing budget, not your pocket.

4

How This Helps Us

Affiliate commissions help us keep VendorPick free and independent. It allows us to spend time researching software without charging users.

What We Will Never Do

These practices are against our core values and we will never engage in them.

Rank products higher because of higher commissions
Hide negative reviews for affiliate partners
Recommend products we don't believe in
Accept payment to write positive reviews
Disguise affiliate links as organic content
Recommend inferior products for more money

How to Identify Affiliate Links

We strive to make it clear when a link is an affiliate link:

  • Links that say "Visit Website" or "Get Started" typically go to the vendor's site and may be affiliate links
  • We include affiliate disclosure notices at the bottom of relevant pages
  • All outbound links to vendor websites should be assumed to potentially be affiliate links
